An impressive nose, welding a dab of reduction to great effect: violet, mace, bergamot and charcuterie, all bright, vital and pointed. The palate, mid-weighted of feel, glides across the mouth, massaging the cheeks with svelte tannins. There is nothing hard or brittle, just the right amount of fruit draped across a finely hewn structural corset. A side note, but this is by far the best suite of wines tasted from this address. A revolution seems asunder .

WINEMAKING

The Shiraz was selectively handpicked from 80-year-old vines.

Gently destemmed and cold-soaked for 14 days.

Slowly Fermented for a further 14 days then gently pressed into a mixture of new and 2-year-old American Oak barrels.

TASTING NOTE

This Small Batch Shiraz displays a full-bodied plush palate with bright & vibrant red fruit characters with hints of spice. Silky tannin finish and great balance.
